Bay Hide Away RV Park & Campground in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi is a family-owned RV park and campground welcoming guests along the tranquil Gulf Coast. Kim and Steve, longtime project planners and builders, traded decades of schedules and power line blueprints for sunrise mornings and campfire nights. Every decision here reflects their belief that outdoor living should feel simple and genuine. Instead of slowing down in retirement, they chose to pour their heart into creating a place where travelers can rest easy, feel truly welcome, and become part of something more than just a stopover. This park is their labor of love - built not as a business first, but as a community where friendships grow under moss-draped oaks, and every detail, from site layout to amenities, is rooted in firsthand experience on the road. Guests walk away with much more than a place to park: they find a second home, shaped by hands-on owners who care deeply for every story and every campfire shared.

Located on the Mississippi Gulf Coast between New Orleans & Biloxi, we are the perfect location to discover all the coast has to offer. Tucked away, but close to everything; 10 minutes from I-10 and once you arrive only minutes from the white sand beaches of the gulf, restaurants, casinos & shopping. Buccaneer State Park beach is five minutes away, Stennis Space Center is ten minutes down the road, Biloxi and the casino strip is 35 minutes east, and New Orleans is about an hour west. The Amtrak station in Bay St. Louis is just 15 minutes from the park for those who'd rather skip the drive into the city.

Whether you are traveling through and need a quick stop for the night, looking for a relaxing place to camp for a few days, or an extended stay during Snowbird Season or any time of the year, we have you covered.
The park features spacious, well-maintained sites designed for maximum comfort and convenience. All sites are full hook-up with W/S/E; we have big rig pull through, back-in and motor home only pull-in sites. Offering full amenities on site to include, Fiber Wi-Fi, immaculate bathhouses, laundry, off leash dog park, pavilion/clubhouse, salt water pool, convenience store, fitness room, propane station, playground & walking trails. We have both satellite friendly or shaded sites.

A designated swimming area invites visitors to relax and unwind, while enjoying the tranquil beauty of the surrounding landscape. With controlled access, the park ensures privacy and peace of mind, making it the ideal destination for both short and extended stays.

Kim and Steve
Kim spent decades managing projects — timelines, teams, budgets, the whole nine yards. Steve spent decades laying and building power lines for communication and data center companies. But every vacation ended the same way: parked somewhere along the Gulf Coast, watching the sun rise over the water, thinking this is the life.
When retirement came knocking, most people picture slow mornings and quieter days. Kim & Steve pictured something different — a place where people could pull in off the road, unhook, and finally exhale. A spot where the moss-draped oaks of Bay St. Louis met the kind of neighbors who wave first and ask questions later.
So the project manager and the love of construction in them took over one last time. They found the opportunity to build and expand Bay Hide Away RV Park & Campground — not as a business first, but as a community first.
Why? Bay Hide Away. Because that’s exactly what it is — a little secret tucked along the Mississippi Gulf Coast, where the outdoor life isn’t a getaway. It’s the whole point.
Retirement didn’t slow them down. It just finally aimed them in the right direction.
